ARTIS CAUSA GALLERY painting, print and drawing group exhibition

Visual artists from all over the world are invited to submit 3 images of 2 up to 3 representative recent works of painting, print and drawing –on paper, canvas or any other material- along with the dimensions of each artwork and their CV (2 pages max) in order to participate at a group exhibition organized by Artis Causa gallery (gallery website: www.artcau.gr). The theme of the exhibition is free. Minimum size of works is set at 30x30cm and maximum size 120x120cm (works do not need to come in square form). We expect all texts in English and/or German.
By end of September the gallery will notify selected artists via e-mail and will send all necessary information regarding works’ delivery and return, which will take place on artists’ responsibility between 1st - 20th October. The works will be evaluated by a panel of experts consisting of an arts professor, a curator and the gallery committee.
Selected artworks will be on exhibition and sale from November 3rd until December 3rd in Artis Causa gallery space. The group exhibition will illustrate a limited number of artists, while the special award for two of them will be a solo exhibition in our gallery and their participation at Art Athina 2012, a reputable international art fair (http://www.art-athina.gr/wp/) or at another international fair.
Artis Causa is best known for its collaboration with european galleries and international contemporary artists offering a fresh alternative approach in art display.
